Advice for Artists

Okay, it’s been a while since I logged in to tumblr. I got kicked from my old apartment and was busy moving to a new one. But for now everything is ok (I guess) after I worked my ass out doing a lot of commissions haha. And first, let’s me told you guys my story. 

To all new artist who are starting to do commission, please stick to your policy. I learnt from my mistake, I was so optimistic since it was an order from someone a nice regular of mine introduces, and when the product was 90% completed, I was ditched (yay).  Take it from me and I advise you, whether it's a regular or a stranger, always make at least 30-50% deposit first. Double check the requirement or better yet screencap customer's requests in order to protect yourself and maintain fairness in business .

And my client accused me for threatening them after I talked about policy. After facing the fact that they were no longer in need of my service, I just politely asked them to not put my artwork under any type of commerial uses because my work was literally ripped off by a ex-customer and used to print and sell before. When I stated myself clearly like that, the client said it's not worth the use so I don't have to worry. The point is, it was a complete contrast to what they said in the first place, telling me that print “nailed the artstyle” and I only have to fix the pose a little bit. I’m not trying to badmouthing my client or something but it’s kinda funny lol

My dakimakura was being traced and sell on ebay i hope no one buy this stuff OMG I regret upload his fullbody on tumblr :(
