It's Coming

@appendingfic / appendingfic.tumblr.com

My ranting, reblogs of cute stuff, and shit like that

"Write for yourself"

Brother, I literally have more than 2 million words sitting in my drafts folder instead of posted on AO3.

I write for myself. I post for community interaction.

Idk there's something really sweet to me about fix-it writers. Like, me and you- maybe we couldnt make it this time, but in another universe, a million people saw the pain of our story and are writing us a happy ending, giving us the chance we never had

Is it too much to ask that all of my enemies find their every endeavor foiled, that everything I love continue unchanged forever, and video games cost $20?

"The power of love is the most destructive force in the world" is a fun sentence to write into magic worldbuilding

Honestly, I really love this idea

I've seen the idea pop up in people talking about Magical Girl things, but it's also the idea of love being consuming, difficulty to direct or moderate

“I’m having my son in 2 months and I’m jealous of how cute baby girl clothes are” you can put your newborn son in a little strawberry print romper, I swear. he won’t mind. he won’t develop a complex over it, I promise.

It’s so interesting how heavily gendered baby clothes are an extremely modern phenomenon like even in the midcentury period baby clothes were often the same cut and color for baby boys and baby girls but now you can’t put your son in a pink romper and you have to use baby glue to affix a flower to your daughter’s head so everyone knows she’s a little girl.

Return to androgynous baby. Nobody needs to know what that thing has going on except you.

Let the baby decide when they’re good and ready. Tbh.

when the kid expresses an opinion on any level on the subject
