This is so absurd to ask strangers on the internet but I’m looking for a fic that’s based around (very minor) prinxiety.

Every side has a mirror, It’s from Virgils perspective and his mirror shows various insecurities and such. He needs to do his makeup, but can’t find it, so he asks Roman to borrow his and Roman leaves him to his own devices in his room.

That leads Virgil to Romans mirror, which places a completely too confident and all too pretty version of himself in front of him. The mirror talks to him for a moment, building up his confidence, talking about the others mirrors and his own.

Eventually leads to the mirror dropping a “Roman has feelings for you bomb” and the fic ends shortly after.

I’ve been looking for this since 2019 pls- I JUST WANT IT </3

I have never heard of this fic before but suddenly I am VERY interested in it

Okay, this has been in my drafts for at least 3 months now. Time to roll it out! Keep in mind, these are videos/bloggers that helped me specifically and there may be some videos/links that aren’t as useful to you. That’s okay! I recommend you get lost in the beauty blogger side of youtube at some point, it’s a lot of fun and you never know what you’ll find!

And I was explaining how I use the internet to read and curate more interests and hobbies and expand my social horizons etc. and she was just like “Well fine if that’s how you want to live. You can waste all your time on the internet if that’s what you want but I beg to differ” and without thinking I just said “then beg.” and the entire car went silent until we got home. it was the biggest power move i have ever made to date

My tummy doesn’t have to be cute. It holds my internal organs. My thighs don’t have to “crush men’s skulls”. I use them to carry myself. My stretch marks don’t have to be tiger stripes I earned. They came when I grew.

I feel like even body positivity is too focused on, like, the appearance of the body. I know I became a whole lot happier with my body when I started thinking of it less in terms of how it looked (to me or anyone else) and realized, that, like…

When I feel cool breeze on my skin on a really hot day, my body did that for me.

When I step into a bath after a hike, and my muscles ache, but in a good way, and the steam all around me makes me feel like a flower blooming, my body did that for me.

And the hike before it, and standing on a large rock breathing the raw winter air seeing the power of the half-frozen river. That too.

When I’ve had a plate of pasta puttanesca, and I chopped and sauteed the ingredients and now I’m full-but-not-uncomfortable, and warm all over, and perfectly content, my body did that for me.

My body doesn’t have to look awesome to be awesome. It’s awesome because it’s where I live.
