👀 lore dump, I storyboarded the Yaz scenes in The Long Run, and YEAH I was this meme while drawing the thing because I loved this script so much.
NOT CANON, NOT IN THE SCRIPT, CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT I MADE THIS UP: I always brainstorm motivations so I can draw acting choices more emotional than "run there, run back".
First half, I decided Yaz subconsciously needs to run as far away from camp as possible so she won't have to watch Sammy die.
But the moment she sees the antidote and falls to her knees, Yaz realizes saving Sammy is ACTUALLY possible--which makes the second half of the run a whole new level of desperate. 🥰
Oh yeah and I got to put a ton of scary dinosaur scenes in the episode as well!!
Loved working on Camp Cretaceous, can't wait to see what the Chaos Theory crew has in store for the characters!!!
