Time Fay wings

Got an idea about some cool stuff and even tho I am supposed to be on bedrest right now (yeah I didn't tell y'all, I am not well. Let's leave it at that for the moment), I still got obsessed with the thing and today I had to make it happen.

Got out of bed and meshed that (from scratch mind you):

Basegame, 10 swatches on the hat mesh (hats will conflict most likely), very heavy mesh, available for both frames and found in skin details.

Another tail set (small) *long post warning*

These have been ready for a few days but I needed to make the post sooooo here I am now :D

There are 5 pairs of tails and most are longer than the normal ones so they are a bit buggy in game (just the tip XD)

First I made was the sea snake:

It has 48 swatches (2 patterns in 24ish swatches) and in the last pics you can see the tip is not as pointy as I wanted to make it. That is the defect for that one.

Next is the Cirrhilabrus tail:

That is the shorter one. It has 30 swatches (with a few pattern variants) and a matching top (facepaint and also base game cause it's like a habit for me now to make the non tails base game). The textures took me a damn long time to make but I am satisfied with the results!

The we have the long awaited hammerhead shark:

See the wonkiness I was talking about for the tips? Well that is the best I could do for this length. The tail's eyes will match your sim's eyes and the tail itself has 25 swatches.

Pike tail (I will try to concentrate more on fresh water tails next month plus a really fucked up one (if I can make it that is) for Halloween):

It has 25 swatches and a shiny map for effect (the little white dots on the tail) but it like super subtle.

And last the Cyclothone tail:

Last one has only 10 swatches but like with everything I make you are all free to add more or change anything you want. Just don't claim you made the whole tail and we'll both be happy little fishies ok? ;)

2 Snake tails (not mermaid tails)

Well 4 actually.

You have the Kobra tail and the Rattle tail, both found in bottoms (you can change it to skin details so the sim keeps the tail all the time but you need this https://modthesims.info/d/540246/simvisible.html).

It was hard to make it work and even tho I am satisfied with the final result, the tails look better when the sim aren't moving and and there is some defects to them (2 last pictures mostly).

They are base game and have 20 (Kobra) to 30 (Rattle) swatches. They are both a mix of free textures found on Google (that I heavily modified) and hand drawned. I did my best to make them seamless and well, there they are. The meshes are from the game (mermaid tail and the teddy bear with a heart for the Kobra tail).

I started working on another tail set (several kinds of "fishies") for sometime in September.

Nereid and Super Nereid tails (and a top) for M and F frames plus 2 other things (super random)

Long title is long. Long post is longer.

Last Halloween I shared my Nereid tails and I forgot about them for a long time and then I was asked to make the super version of said tails so I thought why not share them at the same time? And then I just rudely left to take care of my own things...

Better late than never right?

Super Nereid tails:

The tails are not perfect. I'm still not super good at that whole meshing thing but they look alright to me. The first one comes with a top with the same swatches. To the person who asked for them I know I said I wouldn't do the skirt of the second but I ended up doing it anyway cause why not.

They are both very low riding as well...

Aaaaand here's some other things:

Just Navi. The fairy. Thought it was cute. Comes in left and right version. Moves with the sim's cheek so it will follow that movement. Found in rings but uses the glasses texture map so no glasses will look good with it sorry. It is base game.

And last just a test I made. If it is liked I will look into making more with more type of fishies:

They're made to look good in pictures and game, in CAS they look weird. They don't have an animation, they just move with the tail. This first test comes in 2 versions. Found in rings again. Base game.
