So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?
Saw a sharp increase in my follower count after posting this. The legitimacy of it is driving me nuts so I also feel the need to say that you can follow anyone on here regardless of whether you’ve interacted with them or not. People like the above mentioned blog are exceptions. Perhaps they themselves think they aren’t and therefore will act like they aren’t, but they are, trust me.
Just follow anyone you wanna follow. The worst thing that can happen is maybe getting soft-blocked by the other person, but if they do soft-block you, then they were never that worth following in the first place.
And here i thought i got this social media thing figured out... I thought this was normal like? I find a blog, i like what they post, i hit follow and move on

How would reader and Choso announce their pregnancy?
Ooooooh that's a tough one 😂
I can see it happen in two ways:
First one is Choso being extremely happy because it's something human and something new happening to him (and reader but reader is already human so she has seen pregnancies a lot through her liferime, choso never). He would do bunch of research once you announce it to him and after finding out it's a normal cycle of a human's life he would not feel the need to announce it to anyone. He would still be ahppy of course but he just wouldn't see the point if the rest of humanity sees a pregnancy as a normal thing. Reader will have to explain to him that couples announce it and their friends are extremely happy for them because some people have difficulty getting there (if ever). After that he would plan with you the best way to announce it to as many people as you can. But his brothers are first in line to know. That's a must. Plus Choso being more on the introverted side would want to have a small gathering of close friends, nothing too elaborate. Inviting people to your house to hang out, having fun for a while and then with a big grin announcing you're expecting. Some would want to come up to you and pat your belly but Choso would shoo them away asap. The only ones allowed to come close to you would be his brothers and your family members.
Second way i could see this go is him just bluntly announcing it midconversation. Like discussing something with someone and then be like "oh by the way y/n won't come if there's drinking involved because of the baby. Why are you hugging me?!". He wouldn't expect people to be this surprised about it. Like were they doubting him? Of course he got you pregnant, he wanted to start a family with you (as the family man he is). Once people started asking him how he felt about it as a half curse he would say the usual: excited and scared at the same time. But mostly fascinated about what a human's body is capable of. You wouldn't be so happy once you found out all of your friends knew before you could come up with a cute way to tell them. Choso would, of course, apologize and you would, of course, forgive him.
