FINALLY got around to trying the 'evil art style' thing i posted about last month x_x for this one i mainly tried to avoid: sharp angles, black lineart, dynamic poses, high contrast colors, clothing/piercings/tattoos/fun hair, and cel shading. i also took it upon myself to do a different angle of light and use a medium i never fucking ever touch otherwise (colored pencils).
sorry i have not posted much at all this month ive literally been drawing a lot but i have actually finished very little. so some sneak peeks for you.

do you have a Sadie voice claim?
i do!!!! for speaking voice it's going to be useless to you because it's actually the voice of a normal ass noncelebrity girl with whom i used to be friendly. obv i cant give samples but i can tell you it's pretty deep for a 20-something nonsmoking cis woman, but also generally clear/not naturally raspy. i think maybe a good reference point would be annie lennox's speaking voice? but obviously not scottish. sadie is from michigan.
for her unclean vocals i imagine sth like how tatiana shmayluk (jinjer) does her screams/growls
her "clean" vocals (when singing sadie usually does add some rasp in there) i think are very similar to jill janus (huntress) but her actual inflection is like. less ronnie james dio and more riot!era hayley williams. IF that makes sense.

idk if this is weird but your understanding of color is really good like you just really know how to represent color in your works🌞
this is so kind and I want you to know that I don't "just really know" how to use color! in fact the coloring stage tends to take twice if not three times as long as the rest of the drawing because I'm constantly fiddling and second guessing and thinking so unbelievably hard and also showing like 4 different color options to Mac to get his feedback because I no longer can tell if anything looks good. so like if you yourself don't think you have a "knack" for coloring. NEITHER DO I! we struggle and we persevere ♥️♥️♥️
