To the Voice Over Community: Do Not Audition For The Letter by YangyangMobile

This is my large public warning. Regardless if you are a voice over actor or not, please reblog this and spread the word because this company’s behavior towards Voice Over Actors and Directors is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting.

Allow me to explain why:

YangyangMobile had a cast at the beginning of the project’s Kickstarter and, near the middle and the end of it, brought in a VERY professional casting director to cast their game’s final voice actors. Count this as the SECOND cast.

I have auditioned for this group and assumed all was well. However, the company broke communication with the director and turned around to blame a third recast on her. Please know that there is documentation proving the director’s innocence, yet they still posted about her and publicly defamed her, using her as a scapegoat for actions they initiated. 

What is even worse is that they initiated cyber-attacked/trolling on her public fan-page to either shut her up or use her reaction as proof of their ‘claim’. There is documentation on that as well.

At this rate, as I am her friend and colleague, I have ushered her to take legal action. However, that still does not stop the fact that they are trying to hide the truth and take in VAs. They recently tried to plead innocent on their Kickstarter page and show only part of the truth, making sure they look innocent.

They are hiding can of worms.

I implore ANY voice over actor (amateur, professional, or otherwise) to please reconsider auditioning for this game and that company. They have shown what they can do to someone who VOLUNTEERED their time. Who knows what they can do to someone who demands payment?

Another chapter of Mika Apoptosis is now out!! I helped out a bit with voices for this project and it’s written by the amazing Coren, so you should definitely check it out!

My closet cosplay of Suzu Cappini from Seduce Me!! I did the best I could, I just saw the thing for it today and since the deadline is saturday, I didn’t exactly have much time to do it ahhh but here’s my contribution!!

Hello! Michaela here from the Seduce Me Team! As you may or may not know, we are currently in production of the Epic Sequel of Seduce Me, “Seduce Me 2: The Demon War”

However, not every production is without its drawbacks.

Our background artist has come into some serious personal issues so we are in need of a replacement artist for the demo immediately and quite possibly for the full game of SM2. 

We need 5 pieces of background art for the game’s Demo (Fantasy based):

For consistency, we are asking that the BG art be similar (as close as possible; it does not have to be to the letter) to the style SM1 had.

Our budget is set at $600 for the demo art pieces because that was what was negotiated prior and that was what we have remaining in our demo budget. If you are asked to stay on for the full game, we will be open for negotiations at your rates for the remainder of the backgrounds

We have references on hand for immediate work so if you are interested and can start immediately, please contact me at (michaela.a.laws(@)gmail.com) with references.

The demo goes out on Halloween and we cannot afford to push the game past that deadline at any cost so we need a replacement as soon as possible.

Please also know that I am also taking BG artist names for a rolodex for future productions so if you aren’t chosen for SM2, I will still add you to my contacts list and try to work on another project with you!
