#not having a lot of practice regulating my emotions is a recent struggle i've had to start facing again which has been hard#but ten years of yoga and forcing myself to learn breathing exercises i think will be very helpful!!#and one thing i'd like to also try doing is not giving myself constant psychic damage by going on my phone all the time..#that will be hard but ultimately worth it..#anyway thank u for ur kind message!! i appreciate it#binask

#with my improved mood i find i'm able to motivate myself to draw more which is nice..#i have sooo much stuff i wanna make#like i had this idea of keith and lance going on vacation together on earth but on alien planets too and!! taking a bunch of selfies#and drawing those surrounded in like a polaroid type thing#i've done a couple so far and it's been fun! esp bc it forces me to practice backgrounds lol#binask

ummm let's see.. study people who you think make comics really well and see what you can learn from them.. don't worry about your art being "good enough" before you start. just start! you improve along the way..

and i think one thing i wished i knew before i started making them was that each page tends to be a bit time consuming! so it's important to pace yourself accordingly and take breaks as needed..

i still want to open up for commissions, especially since this year i'd like to replace my current tablet, but i'm! extremely depressed right now unfortunately!

it's hard to do much of anything right now. o(-( i'm not taking very good care of myself, but i'm trying my best and hopefully i'll feel better soon..

once i'm in a better head space it'll be much easier to handle opening for them.. sorry for the wait πŸ™

(also in other news, i spent the last week or so gradually restoring my childhood teddy bear, Bearbear..
