Lucifer kept Sam in his arms, closing his eyes again as he relished this feeling. He relaxed as Sam touched his wings, nuzzling him a bit and wings dropping slightly. Though as the other angel ran in, he looked up, tensing and instinctively bringing his wings up to shield Sam from the angel. God looked over at him, lifting an eyebrow. “It’s okay, Lucifer,” He said, though Lucifer didn’t relax. He wasn’t used to being calm around angels. God stepped forward and glanced to Sam before back to the other, inclining his head a bit. “…Masuda? Is everything alright?”

Sam watched in confusion, blinking slowly as he saw Masuda and locked eyes with the angel. For a few moments he wasn’t sure, but then..It hit him. He slowly moved back from Lucifer, straightening up but still cradled in his lover’s wings.

Masuda glanced to God, swallowing nervously and thinking he might have made a mistake. But seeing Sam, his face brightened. “Sam!” He took off towards him, wings propelling him forward. In the air, he snagged Sam away from Lucifer to hug him tightly.

“Dad!” Sam beamed, and gasped as he was picked up, Masuda only a few feet off the ground. He laughed and hugged his father in return, Masuda holding his head and crying.

“Sam..”

God just stepped back when Sam looked at Masuda, understanding what was happening after the initial surprise of the moment. Though Lucifer didn’t seem as keen about the situation, making a distressed sound as Sam was pulled from his hold. He moved as if to hit at Masuda but God stopped him, watching the reunion. “It’s alright,” He said gently, patting his son’s shoulder.

He glanced over as Michael appeared, a smaller angel with him. He glanced to God apologetically before looking to the pair again. After another moment, He cleared His throat and walked towards the father and son. “Sam,” he said. “I believe there’s someone else you might want to see.” He nodded towards the paid of angels by the door.

Regalius hummed. “I’ve been told my personality is… grating. I make enemies quickly. And, well, sometimes they end up like this,” he said, gesturing to his chest. He looked down and then back to them. “Not that I remember. Most people panic when they see something like this. Call the authorities and then I have to leave.”
He paused, thinking on it. “I dunno. Like I said, this is pretty standard. He’s probably more annoyed that I got myself into this situation than anything, actually. Benny’s sweet but so long with me has probably made him callous.” He chuckled a bit but then coughed, wincing a bit after. “Should be here soon, though. I would think.”

Benny. That’s an easy name.

“Hm. That’s strange to me,” they say as they tug at a stray strand of hair poking out from their bangs, “I think that if I had a friend, I would hurry if they were hurt. Even if it happened a lot. I get hurt a lot, and I have a friend at home who is always upset when it happens. Sometimes he gets so upset that I have to calm him down. That makes me wonder what kind of person this Benny could be.”

With a sharp intake of breath, they pluck the hair from their head. They flick it to the ground without hesitation. “That must have sounded rude. Sorry.”

Regalius leans his head back, eyes closing a bit. Though they opened again as the other speaks. He can’t help but frown a bit at their assesment. “Just a bit rude. You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.” He closes his eyes again and rubs his hands over the rough fabric of his jeans. “Benny’s a saint. He’s put up with and helped me for centuries, even before I knew I needed help.”

As he spoke, footsteps could be heard walking towards the them. He opens his eyes to look over at Ben as he nears them. Concern is clear on the vampire’s face. “Reg, I can’t believe you got yourself into this mess.” As he kneels down, he glances to the other, lifting an eyebrow curiously. “Uh, hello. Who might you be?”

As soon as the kiss ended, Lucifer straightened up, his still black eyes taking Kira in. The small smile gave him pause and he once again remembered how Michael had described her as beautiful. It still felt pale in comparison to the real thing. As they were announced husband and wife, he forced himself to relax. Things were nearly over.
Taking a deep breath, he glanced over to those who had attended the wedding, letting his gaze sweep over them. After a moment, a hand was moved to his new bride’s back and urging her forward. He couldn’t help it. Another moment as the center of attention for this moment was getting to him and he culdn’t afford to lose control of his emotions, not in front of so many people.
So he kept his head high as he led Kira back down the aisle, unable to look at her or anyone else. Even when they finally left the hall, he had to take a moment to compose himself. His shoulders fell and he pulled his hand away from Kira, her holiness still stinging him. He took several deep breathes, eyes closed as he gathered himself.
Finally, he looked at her again, unable to think of anything to say. So he settled for looking her over and then glanced away, shifting on his feet and looking as awkard and uneasy as he felt.

Kira swallowed nervously at the sight of Lucifer’s eyes, tensing up almost visibly before trying to shake it off. She looked back to the crowd to get her mind off things, smiling a bit as she saw her father, and the angels she knew. Of course, that comfort did little to ease the itching sensation that overcame her when Lucifer touched her back.

The angel held her breath, and just walked forward with him, bouquet tightly at her chest and her eyes trying to stay ahead of them. She didn’t want to see the faces that stared at them from the crowd. It could be seen as rude but, she didn’t really care. It didn’t matter in the end, they were married now.

Some of the heaviness lifted from her as they made it out of the hall and into the grand entrance of the place. She sighed, taking a breath as she realized she had been holding hers. Of course she was much more reserved with her calming down, shutting her eyes for a few moments before looking to Lucifer.

She frowned as she noticed his..struggling? It did make her worry..not like he had done anything to make her afraid of him. Not yet at least. “…Are you alright?” Her voice was soft and kind, a bit less rehearsed and unemotional as it was back in the hall. She managed a warm smile.

Lucifer pushed his hair back from his face, still working on gathering himself. Though he hadn’t expected for her to say something to him. He stopped and glanced over at her, blinking in surprise at the smile on her face. It made it a bit difficult to think of a response and he just opened his mouth before closing it again.

Finally, he seemed to get a handle on himself and straightened his shoulders, trying to go back to his impressive self. “I’m fine,” he said and nodded towards the doors. “I just don’t really do crowds, or really like being the center of attention. Especially of a group like that.”

He of course mostly meant the angels. It was hard to be around them, even Kira. He took another deep breath. “Forgive me if I’m not my usual warm self,” he said in an unserious tone. He wondered what exactly she knew of him, though he was sure it was mostly of his cruelty.

SR wasn’t sure where he was. Theoretically, the android should always know, but Alton hadn’t gotten around to upgrading his GPS yet. So for now, he was lost with no way to get back to the circus grounds. He looked around a bit, trying to calculate where he had come from but the greenery all looked the same.

His eyes scanned over things and then landed on someone. They were registering as human (well, humanoid) so he was sure they could help. “Excuse me!” he called, the whirring of his system getting slightly louder as he rushed over to them. “Hi. I, uh… Well, I’m lost and was wondering if you could help me get back?”

Harlow blinked and looked him up and down. Her ears picked up on a sound she knew humans didn’t naturally make. He also smelt…burnt…for lack of a better word. Like a fried computer or overheating phone. Though what was even more bazaar was him asking for her help. Sure, some humans did. Except they were tourists and even then it was extremely rare. Her attitude and roughed apperance usually made them stay away from her which is what she preferred. But, what could go wrong? Hell, she might even find a decent meal.

Harlow gave a curt nod. Then, she glanced around and gave him a raised brow. Silently asking him where he needs to go.

SR watched the other as he waited for an answer, rocking on his feet. As he looked her over again, he noticed that she wasn’t as kempt as others might be. But he didn’t mind, so long as he got help. When she nodded, he gave a bit of a smile. “Ah, thank you,” he said then paused, thinking for a moment before explaining, “I’m looking for a circus. With a big blue tent, called G and X shows.” He rocked still on his feet, still needing to move. Though he could feel his system heating too much even. He wouldn’t be able to stay outside much longer without a shut down.

It wasn’t often that Meera would catch a scent of something different so whenever she did, she had to investigate. So Genevieve followed her towards whatever it was that had caught her attention. She had no fears that the large tiger would hurt them, knowing that she was rarely aggressive.

Meera trotted right up to the man and sniffed at him, giving a soft kitten-like sound. She bumped her head against him. “Meera,” Genevieve said as she walked up, smiling apologetically. “Sorry, she’s usually not like this.” Meera gave another sound and bumped him again.

At the prospects of an unknown sound and bump the man he jumped nearly in a defensive manor, not expecting to hear the sound of a kitten and the sights of a tiger. Half panicked, though he quickly found himself relaxing as he noted the friendly intentions of the creature.

Cautiously the man stuck his hand out to the large cat’s nose, “Muy bonita-” He blurted out almost subconsciously, almost like the tiger was a little puppy, “She is beautiful. I forget the word- it’s not lion but the orange one,” He spoke with interest; he normally was not one to participate in conversions, though he couldn’t help but have his interested piqued by the gentle creature.

Genevieve paused a moment at the foreign language. It isn’t one that she’s heards around the circus, at least not often, so it catches her offguard. Though Meera has no problems as she sniffs at the man’s hand and then licked at his fingers. The woman watches her for a moment and then makes sure her hood is pulled up to hide her own fur and stripes before looking to the man again.

She furrows her eyebrows a bit and then says, in a pleased tone, “Tiger. She’s a tiger.” Meera gives a soft purring sound and presses to the man’s hand like a house cate might to ask for pets. “Her name is Meera. I think she likes you. She does not really go up to strangers.”

I actually do have an explanation for why animals hate Reg.

It’s cause they can tell he shouldn’t be alive. Reg has an aura(? soul? both??) that’s ancient and decaying and unsettles animals and marks him as a threat. Prey animals avoid him and predators attack. Reg fears them cause he’s been attacked so many times and a good 83% of the scars on his body are from animal attacks.

Lucifer was perfectly stoic, only his solemn expression and black eyes giving away the anxiety and harsh emotions he felt about this union. He wasn’t even entirely sure why he’d agreed when Michael had come to speak to him about it. He’d never truly been able to tell his brother no and he knew that this was best for Heaven and Hell, though his ill feelings towards it came from marrying an angel.
He almost didn’t look at his bride when she came down but then finally glanced over at her, immediately taken with her beauty. Michael’s descriptions didn’t live up to the vision he saw in front of him. Even so, he was sure that the expression on her face was nearly identical to how he felt. He reached over to take her hand from her father, her angelic presence stinging his skin slightly. He never offered a smile, unable to bring himself to summon one.
As the ceromony went on, his attention remained forward as he paid attention, speaking as prompted and then glancing down at Kira when she spoke. He took a breath, taking a moment to try to seem less intimidating. Who knew what they say about him. As he was prompted to kiss the bride, there was a moment of hesitation and he bent to kiss her as gently and softly as he could.

Kira managed to look at Lucifer, noticing the eyes and her heart dropping into her stomach. He couldn’t help but glance towards where her father was in the crowd, smiling a bit at her reassuringly and Kira trying to return it before her attention was returned to Lucifer and the priest.

There was a sensation of itching, like filth when she touched Lucifer, and her fingers around her flowers twitched in reply. The heavy air of the underneath made her feel like she was suffocating,..though the stress and pressure from the eyes of the underworld and paradise on them wasn’t helping. The angel glanced up at Lucifer when Lucifer spoke as well, not offering the smile either.. It was too awkward and..Lucifer intimidated her to the point she felt like smiling was impossible..at least at him.

The prompt of kissing her made Kira’s knees lock, trying to keep her breathing and heart rate under control as her sheer veil was moved from her face and she was met with Lucifer’s lips. She closed her eyes, not even leaning in but a bit surprised at how gingerly he treated her.. Of course, Kira wasn’t sure if it was because he was trying to be nice, or because he thought her frail and didn’t want to embarrass.

It wasn’t until the kiss ended that Kira looked up at Lucifer, pink eyes studying him a bit better now. She managed a small smile, and then looked to the priest as they were announced husband and wife, their union solidifying peace for angels and demons alike. Kira was glad, at least everyone else would be at peace..though her mind kept going back to her son…Missing him dearly and just wanting to go home and cuddle him.
