My therapist just told me my problem is that I need to write more fanfiction.

This sounds fake but the logic behind it is actually really interesting? She said obsession with a new fandom triggers quick dopamine release when we consume all this related content--it's easy and addictive.

What we're NOT getting is that 'slow dopamine' that's more sustainable and engaging. That's the kind we get from DOING things that take effort but are ultimately rewarding.

So like, she suggested that writing fic and making fanart are ways to balance the quick dopamine of watching a show/reading fic with the slow dopamine of working at something that takes effort.

Moral of the story is you should engage in the process of creation around your favorite things. You'll feel better for it.

Being Married To Ivar Would Include...

-Ivar being really protective over you in every single way possible. He would fight anyone who tries to mess with you or try and take you away from him.

-Him wanting to make sure that you are safe no matter what and always has someone go with you in the village does not matter if it is him or some other warrior going with you.

-During feasts he always has you sit with him. He does not want you to feel alone or have to sit with another man. So, he just wants you to sit with him.

-When you both are in bed, he loves to cuddle with you and be with you all throughout the night. Sometimes, he lets you cuddle him from behind but his most favorite is when he is laying down on his back and then you just lay your head on his chest.

-You both always having fun no matter what is going on. Everyone always notices that you both are always smiling around each other and making each other laugh at any time possible.

-Him always being super gentle with you. He is always gentle touching you. He always makes sure that when he hugs you or even when you both cuddle that he is being gentle and soft with you.

-His brothers have had a small crush on you at some point but have let it go because they had realized that you were staying with Ivar for a long time.

-His brothers liking you and thinking that you are a good fit for him and could handle all of his crazy tendencies.

-Ivar being really protective of you like all the time. He would hate anything happening to you. Even if it is such a small thing. He would be so dramatic even if you got a small cut on yourself.

-Him buying you all the things that you need and more. He wants to make sure that you are well taken care of and that you have all the things that you want and need.

-Him loving to give you kisses and hugs all the time. He does not mind at all showing how much he loves you to everyone in the village.

-Him learning how to be honest with you and talk to you more. He never felt like he could talk to anyone and tell the truth unless it was with his mother or father.

-Him loving you in every single way that he can. He gives you gifts, love, and even tries to fix things for you if you need it.

-He always gets mad when someone tries and takes you away from him. He is so willing to fight for you in every way possible. In his mind even though you both are just dating he knows that he wants to marry you and that you are his already. So, he protects you in every way that he can.

-His brothers already like you a lot and even wish that they have claimed you before Ivar did. But they soon let that go when they realize how much you really love Ivar.

-Ivar being able to tell you everything and anything that is on his mind. He respects your opinion a lot. So, he will always ask you your opinion on things. Even if it is something political.

-Ivar would be really possessive over you because he just does not want to lose you and he just loves you so much.

-He would do anything for you that you may have needed. He loves just getting stuff for you as well. If you need anything he has got it for you.

-Whenever you are off doing something around the village, he makes sure that someone goes with you just to help keep you safe if something ever happened in the village.

-He loves to cuddle you to whenever he can when you both are in bed about to go to sleep.

-Whenever you come into the same room as him, he sometimes likes to put all of his attention on you. He cannot always do this because of meeting and all this but when he is able to, he loves to give you a ton of attention from himself.

-He also loves to just give you random hugs out of nowhere and likes to play around with you as well.

-Sometimes when you both are in the house alone, he likes to tickle you and make you laugh a lot.

Being Ivar's woman would include a lot of different things. To start off it would include him being super protective over you. Like he would want someone he trusts to be with you at all times if he could not be with you at that time. Not only is he protective but he is also really possessive over you as well. he just wants to keep you safe because he knows that people do not like him so that means you have a possibility of getting hurt because they do not like him. Not only is he protective and possessive over you but he is also really loving and caring towards you. He loves to spoil you and cuddle with you a lot. Like I mean a lot. Whenever he notices that you even have the slightest liking of something in the market, he buys it for you because he notices when you like things. He also really loves to cuddle you at night whenever you both are in bed sleeping. He likes to keep you close and feel hoe warm you are against him.

Ivar Being Gentle With You Would Include...

Ivar would be really gentle with you because he thinks you deserve to be gentle with. He thinks you are very sensitive, so he handles you so gently and no way other. he loves it when he is gentle mainly because he knows that you are gentle back with him because he knows you love that he is gentle with you. he would always give you very soft and loving hugs no matter where you both are and maybe give you small kisses on your forehead when hugging you. he also loves cuddling you every night when you both are going to bed. He loves feeling you against him when you are both cuddling. He also really loves being close to you and you also laying your head on top of his chest when cuddling.

Ivar Proposing To You Would Include...

Ivar proposing to you would be the biggest shock to everyone. I think some of his family would not expect him to even want to marry someone even though he says all the time of his ambitions of having children. I think it surprised Hvitserk and Sigurd the most just because they did not really believe him all that much. But then once they see you and see the ring on your finger then they start to believe it a bit more. But they are still in shock either way. At the end of the day though, they are very happy for Ivar. And of course, Ivar is very happy to be marrying you. When Ivar proposes to you, he makes sure it is very special and gets you a very nice ring to propose to you with. Before he had proposed to you, he had planned a nice dinner with you in nature and also a night for the both of you and then after dinner he had asked you to marry him.
