ITALY: ART & CRAFT: JACOPO ROSATI
After growing tired of vector illustration, Jacopopo Rosati spent a year evolving his style. He was seeking “something more warm” he says, “something that I can make with [my] bare hands. I chose fuzzy felt because it’s a kind of material which isn’t used too much as a pure graphical media.” The resulting style foregoes hyper-trendy paper art, while honoring craft with playful humility. Check out the video above to learn about Rosati’s design process.
