Oh lord I liked them all. Why couldn’t it have been Mastiff instead? I have strong feelings about that book.
Burn Game of Thrones, if only because I at least have the shows for that one, and the book took me forever to get through.
Read Terrier - I would’ve said HP, because I always want to read HP, but I have more fanfiction for that and also it would be fun to rewrite. I do love the Beka Cooper series though, and Terrier was probably my favorite in the series.
Rewrite Harry Potter, because I’d make it longer and do what the second season of OITNB did for that show - develop the full ensemble cast. I want more about Harry’s childhood, including Remus Lupin attempting to take custody of Harry or at least watch out for him from a distance. Imagine how different Harry’s life would be if he had had someone watching out for him since the beginning, someone who could tell him about his magic and his parents. And then more about his classmates - more Dean Thomas, more Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws, and Slytherins. What if Hermione had been sorted into Ravenclaw and they all ended up as best friends anyway? I mean, this is basically fanfiction, and that is my favorite thing ever.

Yay books!
T. Three Of Your All-Time Favorite Books
1. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
I loved loved loved this book. It’s the one that got me obsessed with reading about personifications of Death, leading me to read a plethora of others (Keturah and Lord Death, Sandman, On a Pale Horse, etc.).
2. A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
This was my very first favorite book. I read a children’s version when I was little, until I found out there was a full version that was way longer! I still love it.
3. The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton
I read this one in 7th grade, and it always stuck with me. It’s one I’ve come back to and read again and again, and it always makes me cry.
U. Unapologetic Fangirl For
Harry Potter. Always.
W. Worst Bookish Habit
Rushing to get to the end of a book and skipping through sentences or paragraphs (or at my worst, whole pages). The first time I read Goblet of Fire, I skipped almost the entire chapter before the World Cup.
V. Very Excited For This Release More Than Any Other
Tie between the next book in A Song of Ice and Fire (so many characters’ fates hang in the balance!) and the sequel to Robin McKinley’s Pegasus, which I have been waiting for for five years now. Since neither has a release date yet, I expect to be waiting a while longer.
Y. Your Latest Book Purchase
I think the last book I actually bought was Under Sea, Over Stone. It’s a good thing I got this book for like $2, because once I started trying to read it, I couldn’t get past the first few pages.
Z. ZZZ-Snatcher (last book that kept you up WAY late)
Well I stayed up late reading the manga Blood Alone recently, but to be honest I think that’s just because I would’ve stayed up late anyway. The last book that really sucked me in and kept me up was probably The Golem and the Jinni.
I’m not at home now, so I’ll post X once I am!

Oh that’s an interesting question. I feel like surely there should be a book I read that’s so bad I wish to un-read it, but I’m drawing a blank. I do wish I could un-read some of my favorite books just so I could have the pleasure of reading them for the first time all over again (e.g., Harry Potter 7, The Book Thief, The Raging Quiet)
Hello tumblr friends!
I am collecting recommendations for teenager-appropriate books about queer people who aren’t cisgender white boys. In other words, books about trans, bi, lesbian, ace/aro people and/or queer and trans people of color.
I’m hoping to get my local LGBTQ teen support group to buy some new books, so if there are any that fit the description above that you particularly enjoyed, please let me know!
Because literature creates community, and
Because it is incredibly important for bisexual people to see bisexuals represented in the media around them, and yet
Because books about bisexuals are underrepresented in mainstream as well as gay and lesbian review sources,
Bisexual-Books reads, reviews, and talks about bisexual authors, stories, and characters.
We do this to connect bisexual people to awesome bisexual literature,
Raise awareness about negative tropes, stereotypes, and cliches in literature,
Let publishers know that bisexual books have an audience, and
Create a place where readers can discover and share quality bisexual literature.
