halloween: MY BULL RIDERS

It took the boys weeks to decide what they wanted to be for Halloween. I had to lay a few ground rules though…no all black costumes (last years realistic bat was super cool but really hard to see in the dark) and no weapons. Case almost went as Estaban the Magnificent from the Oliver Jeffer’s book, The Day the Crayons Came Home, but as soon as Jax decided he wanted to be a bull rider (not a cowboy) it was over. Two bull riders. We all cruised to the local western shop to pick up some hats and a pair of boots for Jax. Then it was time to make some chaps! Haha! I love making costumes…I had so much fun, the boys picked out the colors and shapes they wanted on them. They were cute as can be. We even got to trick-or-treat in our neighborhood and got a photo with their pals before heading over to Mimi and Papa’s house. It was the twins first Halloween…we had fun taking selfies on a sugar high!
