In 1955, the U.S. government tested the effects of a nuclear weapon by dropping a bomb on a town in Nevada. The carnage was dramatic, as seen above. It would have been tragic, too, had the town been real, but it wasn’t. All the “people” in the fake town, including the one above, were mannequins.
