You grumbled as you opened the bunker door, bringing in Sam and Dean’s bags.  They had a rough hunt and wanted you to get their bags from the car.  It was more of a demand than a request, actually.  You didn’t have a choice in the matter, but you did it because you were you a kind person.  Even when Dean was an ass hole, you smiled and helped him anyway.

You didn’t want to make two trips up and down the stairs so you grabbed both bags.  They were heavy for being mostly clothes.  You kicked the door shut behind you, spinning on your heels to go down the stairs.  When you turned around you stumbled over your other foot.  You closed your eyes ready to fall.  You felt a hand grasp your wrist tightly, pulling you in the other direction.  A pair of arms wrapped tightly around you, keeping you safe and secure.  The bags hadn’t even fallen down the stairs.

When you opened your eyes Castiel’s face was all you saw.  How did he always know when you were in danger?  He always managed to save you at the last second.  You were thankful for Castiel.  He made your heart swoon every time you saw him.  You had never been this close to Cas before.  Your cheeks flushed pink as you peered into his ocean blue eyes.  “Thank you Cas.  If it wasn’t for you I’d probably be at the bottom of those stairs and in pain,” you smirked.

Cas flashed you a small smile, his arms still wrapped around you.  “I’m glad I could grab you before you fell [Y/N],” Cas spoke, his voice hushed.  “You managed to throw the bags behind you before you stumbled.”

“Well great catch, Cas,” you mused.  “I owe you one.”

“If that’s the case, I’d like to take you up on that now [Y/N],” the angel replied.  

Your face went from relieved to surprised.  You weren’t sure what he was going to ask for, but you would keep your word.  Honor was important to Castiel; you didn’t want to disappoint him.  “Uh sure, what can I do for you,” you asked, smiling at the angel.

“I’d like to cuddle with you [Y/N],” Castiel requested.  “I find contact with you to be enjoyable and you’re delightful to be around.”

The blush on your cheeks grew three shades darker.  You couldn’t help the wide grin on you lips.  You nodded, “we can definitely cuddle.  All I have to do, is put Dean and Sam’s bags on the table.  Then we can go straight to my room.”

Castiel grabbed both of the bags in one of his hands, taking your hand in the other.  He pulled you along, placing their bags on the table.  The angel paused turning to face you.  Cas had the most adorable smile on his face as his eyes admired you.  He slid an arm around your waist.  “Is this alright [Y/N],” Castiel asked cautiously.

“Mhm,” you hummed.

“Good,” Castiel murmured with a shy smile.  Cas had memorized where Dean and Sam’s rooms were; he had done the same with your room.  He wasted no time in ushering the both of you to your room.  Castiel quietly clicked your door shut.  “I assume you will fall asleep.  I don’t want Dean or Sam to disturb you while you sleep,” Castiel explained.

You yawned checking your phone.  It was only nine at night.  If anything the Winchesters were already asleep, especially after the hunt they just got back from.  You faced Castiel, “do you mind if I slip into my pajamas?”

“Not at all [Y/N].  I’ll get comfortable myself,” Castiel spoke lowly, slipping off his trench coat.  He didn’t watch you slip into you pajamas; he was too busy neatly folding his clothes over the back of your desk chair.  Once he was in just his boxers, he padded over to your bed.

Your eyes grew wide at the sight of Castiel in just his boxers.  Just when your cheeks had returned to their natural pigment, they flushed pink once more.  You were already under your covers.  You didn’t want Cas to think there was a problem so you patted the bed next to you.  “Don’t worry, I don’t mind you being under the covers,” you assured him.

Castiel slid in under your blankets, laying on his back.  He pulled you over to him, wrapping one of his arms around you.  Castiel loved how warm you were.  He never understood why he liked you so much.  There was something about you that made him have butterflies in his stomach.  You made him feel like he wasn’t alone on this Earth.  Castiel gently ran his hand up and down your back.  “Your skin is soft [Y/N],” Cas whispered.

“Thank you,” you hummed happily.  “I got this new soap the other day.  It’s supposed to keep my skin soft during the winter.”

“It’s doing a wonderful job,” Castiel complimented.  “You can sleep if you want.  I won’t leave.”

“I like having you here Cas.  It makes falling asleep so much easier.  Not that you’re boring.  I just feel more relaxed; more at ease,” you went on, sleep slightly slurring your words.

Castiel continued to trace his fingers along your back as he watched you nod off to sleep.  When he was sure that you were asleep, he pressed a kiss to your forehead.  “I love you [Y/N],” Castiel whispered.

For the rest of the night, Cas watched you as you slept, admiring everything about you.  The way your chest rose and fell as you slept.  The way you smiled in your sleep.  He especially liked the way you seemed to wrap your arm around him in your slumber.  If he had it his way, he would hold you this close forever.
