The new attitude and increased involvement displayed last week by the US in Syria is moving the country into the end-time situation predicted in the Bible: the fall of Syria into the hands of Turkey.
The US strike on a Syrian military airfield on Friday set the US on a collision course with Russia. If the Russian-backed President Assad is ousted in the current geopolitical situation, it will be difficult to find a viable new leader who would be acceptable to the US, Russia and the Middle East powers.
This scenario would set the stage for Turkey to take control of Syria. Iran will align with Turkey to stabilize the area, allowing both Russia and the US to exit gracefully. It may seem far-fetched now for Turkey to dare increase its influence in Syria; but according to what I see in biblical prophecy, the Assad regime will be toppled and Turkey will gain control of Syria in the next few years.
