I predicted that the president of Turkey would send troops to Syria and Iraq without declaring war based on Daniel 11:24 when I wrote my book in 2016. On October 7, 2017, Turkish President Erdoğan announced a major military operation in the province of Idlib in Syria under the pretense of reducing civilian casualties and stabilizing the area. For this purpose, Turkey, who is on the side of Syrian rebels, is cooperating with Russia and Iran, who are backing the Assad regime. Turkey already has troops stationed in the Bashiqa military camp in northern Iraq.
We can expect more of Turkey’s military presence in the near future.
