Prepare your car for fall with auto service!
Fall is here in Clermont, and we can already see the changes! Everywhere you look there is something related to pumpkins and people are getting ready for Halloween. So while you prepare with tutorials and ads that pop up in your news feed or dashboard, what about your car? You may not think about it, but the change in seasons can have an affect on your car. Here are some car maintenance tips from Toyota of Clermont to prepare your car for fall.
Auto service tip #1: Check your brakes
No matter how safe you may drive, if your car brakes are in bad shape you are putting yourself and those around you in jeopardy. If you hear or feel any grinding when you press on the brakes, be sure to bring your car into a service center to get them checked out.
Auto service tip #2: Are your headlights shining bright?
With the coming of fall, that means the end of Daylight Saving Time. That means by the time you leave work, it could already be getting dark. To make sure you have maximum visibility in the dark as you drive, get your headlights checked. If they need to be replaced or cleaned, be sure to do that before November 5.
Auto service tip #3: Have you gotten an oil change?
If you’re overdue for an oil change, we don’t recommend going on any road trips before you get it done. It can be incredibly harmful to your car’s engine to keep using oil that is old and not lubricating the moving parts properly. So make sure you get an oil change before taking that holiday road trip.
This is by no means a complete list on how you should prep your car for fall. For more advice, check out the Toyota of Clermont website for service tips to use no matter the season.
