On our new Facebook Timeline page, you can view milestones from the organization’s past, starting with 1971, the year a group of French doctors and journalists created MSF in the wake of the war and accompanying famine in Biafra, Nigeria, and the floods in eastern Pakistan (now Bangladesh).

We got a nod from Fast Company for our innovative use of the new Timeline layout to create an “emphasis on narrative, history, and photography” while “while directly engaging with fans and patrons in ways pamphlets and mailers never could.”
