Illinois: Daughter of Muslim serving 168 years for Libyan-funded terror plots in U.S. running for Congress

Offspring of Muslim terrorists are taking over the Democratic party, and if elected…

TINLEY PARK, IL — Anti-violence activist Ameena Matthews will be running for the 1st District Congressional seat that longtime Representative Bobby Rush now holds.
She said she’s running because Rush, a Democrat, has failed to support bills that enhance public safety, support criminal justice reform and protect women’s rights.
“For maybe about at least about 15 years I was consciously watching our community just go down rapidly,” Matthews said. “He left the first district for dead.”
Rush did not respond to requests for comment.
Matthews’ own history is marked by violence. Her father is Jeff Fort, a co-founder of the Black P. Stones gang and founder of El Rukn. He is serving 168 years in prison for agreeing to commit domestic terrorism in exchange for $2.5 million from Libya. Matthews, too, was a gang member. She has said publicly that her children and her Muslim faith pulled her off the streets and guided her toward her peace work.

The organization was co-founded by Eugene Hairston and Jeff Fort. In later years, under Fort’s leadership, an Islamic faction of the gang emerged, naming themselves the “El Rukn tribe of the Moorish Science Temple of America” (or simply El Rukn, Arabic for “the pillar” or “the foundation”).^[2]^[3]^[4] They eventually started describing themselves as Orthodox Sunni Muslims. Jeff Fort changed their fort name from El Rukn Moorish Science Mosque, to El Rukn Sunni Masjid al-Malik.

Fort’s daughter, Ameena Matthews (video of her begging for funds here) isn’t the only Muslim in the race.

Sarah Gad, an Egyptian-American who grew up in the Twin Cities is in the same race.

They are running against incumbent Democrat, the notorious cop-hating, violence-inciting Black Panther Bobby Rush. And that’s just the 1st District Congressional seat.
