Series Masterlist

Dean pulled Baby into the garage, taking the keys out of her ignition.  Dean glanced over at you; you looked worse now than you had getting in the car.  There was no doubt in his mind that the cause of all of this was your golden heart thing.  “Do you want me to help you to your room.  You look awful [Y/N],” Dean mumbled, concern in his voice.

You sat up, feeling slightly dizzy.  You turned your head to look at Dean; he was not enthralled.  “I would say no, but honestly I feel like shit,” you spoke in a low voice.  “Do you mind?”

“Of course not [Y/N].  We’re practically family.  Now let’s get you to bed,” Dean muttered, getting out of the car.  He was quick to get to your side of the car.  As he opened the door he could see how much more paler you had gotten since the drive home.  The elder Winchester wrapped your arms around his neck, “hold on [Y/N].  Otherwise you might fall.”  As Dean scooped you out of the Impala, he could tell you were holding on to him with all of your strength.  “Are you sure you’re okay sweetheart?  You don’t want to go to a hospital?”

“I hate hospitals Dean,” you grumbled.  “Throw me in a bed.  I’ll be okay.”

“You look awful [Y/N],” Dean whispered.

“So you’ve said twice now.  Thanks for that,” you spoke, your words slightly slurring.  “I’ll be fine.  Just let me sleep.”  You hoped you would be fine.  Not only did you apparently look awful, you felt worse than you looked.

Dean sighed, making sure to not make too much sound.  The last thing he wanted was to attract attention to you.  He would get grilled from every angel in heaven, and that was something he didn’t want.  Dean was sure you couldn’t handle much more at this point anyway.  Dean opened the door to his room, setting you gently down on his bed.  “No one will disturb you in here [Y/N],” Dean spoke, his voice hushed.  “I’ll check on you in a few hours.”  You mumbled something, but Dean couldn’t understand a single word you said.  He covered you up with his blankets, frowning at how vulnerable you looked.  Dean knew how strong you were.  You were the one to save their asses on most hunts, and now he couldn’t save yours.

Dean shut off the lights, keeping the door cracked as he left.  He exhaled heavily, walking through the bunker to find Sam.  He checked the library last, which is where Sam was.  He didn’t expect to see the angel squad there too.  They had been coming around almost everyday lately.  He was used to seeing Cas.  He wasn’t used to seeing Balthazar and Gabriel all the time.  Dean entered the library, everyone turning to him.  He knew they expected to see you trailing behind, but that wasn’t the case.

“Where’s [Y/N],” Gabriel eyed the elder Winchester carefully.

“She’s asleep.  Poor gal was so tuckered out from the hunt.  She almost slept through the whole car ride too,” Dean spoke nervously.  He caught Balthazar’s eyes, quickly looking away from the angel.

“[Y/N] is fine I assume,” Castiel raised an eyebrow.

“Yeah.  She just needs rest,” Dean shrugged, padding up to the group of men standing at the table.  Dean shook his head; he had to say something.  “Look,” Dean paused noticing everyone’s eyes on him once more.  “Crowley showed up in the alley where she killed the wraith.  [Y/N] was acting weird after the hunt and I made her talk about it.  Crowley said that Lucifer has his eye on her.  Lucifer won’t stop until he finds her; something like that.”

“He’s not wrong,” Castiel stated flatly.  Castiel handed Dean a stack of notes that came from your car.  They were all labeled with different nicknames associated with Lucifer.

Dean read over each note quickly, setting each one down on the table as he finished them.  His eyes darted to the group of men who stood around him.  “What the hell,” Dean said, raising his voice.  “How the hell did he get in here?”

“I don’t think he did,” Sam chimed in.  “He’s Lucifer Dean, he’s sneaky.”

Dean’s eye caught sight of the other table.  It was littered with necklaces.  Dean slapped the notes down on the wooden surface, walking to the other table.  There were so many angel feathers on necklaces.  Dean picked up one of the necklaces, “what are these?”

“They’re angel feathers on a necklace,” Balthazar answered, rolling his eyes.  He leaned his back against the other table, folding his arms across his chest.

“Why does she have so many,” Dean questioned, pulling the last few out of the box.  He set them down on the table along with the others.  His eyes studied each feather carefully; each one was different.

“They represent each suitor [Y/N] has after her test,” Castiel informed the elder Winchester.  “After her test, she will have to choose a suitor.  It’s complicated, but Sam can tell you later.”

“How many feather necklaces does [Y/N] have,” Dean inquired looking up at the three angels.

“Well there are many more angels, but she has twenty-four feather necklaces,” Gabriel stated.  “I could tell you which angels if I looked at the feathers.”  Gabriel scanned his eyes over the feather necklaces.  “There’s mine, Castiel, Balthazar, Samandriel, Gadreel, Uriel, Anna, Zachariah, Virgil, Rachel, Joshua, Hester, Inias, Naomi, Metatron, Hael, Bartholomew, Malachi, Theo, Tamiel, Michael, Anael, Raphael…  And Lucifer?”  Gabriel held up Lucifer’s feather necklace.

“However, most of them are dead,” Castiel quickly noted.  “Metatron is in prison as well.”

“Wait, does that mean what I think it means,” Sam interjected, worry evident in his voice.

“It means Lucifer is in the running for [Y/N],” Gabriel glared at the younger Winchester.
