And in the adaptation there’s a scene in wich Samwise Gamgee imagines himself and Frodo sitting on a field of the Shire and good and kind smiling orcs walking by, living in peace with them. And i tought that the rest of the movie supported that this idea could have been possible in the “Where is a Whip there is a Way” musical number, where the orcs are given some pathos, shown to be hating going to war.
Them i remembered the plot of the minisseries “Steven Universe: Future”, where Steven and his family are dedicated to integrate the redeemed Crystal Gems (who previously antagonized them) after the planetary war.
So i was starting to think: in a alternative reality where the orcs were revealed to be good but misguided and opressed all along, how Frodo and the Fellowship could help them integrate with the rest of Middle Earth society? Wich kind of works they could adopt? How would that society react to that plan of orc integration?
Please, feel free to send me headcanons :)

The Company of Dwarves greeting you.
I just realized that the Rankin-Bass animated version of The Hobbit has two Captain Hooks in it.
Hans Conreid, the voice of Disney’s Captain Hook, voiced Thorin, while Cyril Ritchard, who played Hook alongside Mary Martin’s Peter Pan onstage on TV, voiced Elrond.
I shared clips of both of their singing in this post.
Interesting coincidence.
